We are not a high-volume kennel or chaotic daycare. Our approach focuses on:

Where are you located?
One Paw Away Dog Resort is proudly located at 467 South Street, Morristown, NJ. This is our one and only location, where all services are offered under one roof.
Do you have multiple locations?
No. At this time, all One Paw Away services—including daycare, boarding, Puppy Kindergarten, grooming, and Splash—are exclusively located at 467 South Street, Morristown, NJ.
Location, Parking, & Accessibility
Do you have your own parking lot?
Yes. We offer private on-site parking for our clients.
Is there additional parking nearby?
Yes. We are conveniently located directly across from beautiful Loantaka Park, which offers 300+ additional parking spaces.
Is the area safe?
Yes. Our South Street location is in a highly desirable, safe, and accessible area of Morristown, making drop-offs, pickups, tours, and visits convenient for families.

One Paw Away is a premium, state-of-the-art dog resort designed to support dogs through every stage of life. Our facility includes:

Do dogs have access to both indoor and outdoor spaces?
Yes. Dogs enjoy structured indoor and outdoor play throughout the day based on weather, safety, energy levels, and group type.
Is your outdoor space turf?
Yes. Our outdoor play areas feature premium turf for safety, cleanliness, durability, and year-round usability.
Can I tour the facility before enrolling?
Absolutely. We strongly encourage it. All evaluations include a complimentary owner-led tour so you can see our indoor spaces, outdoor yards, boarding options, and overall environment for yourself.
Who should attend the evaluation and tour?
For the best experience, we ask that pet parents only attend evaluations and tours.
Please note:
- No children, please
- Dogs scheduled for evaluation should attend
- Primary decision-makers or caregivers are encouraged
This helps us create a calmer, safer, and more focused environment while we evaluate your dog, answer questions, and guide you through the facility.
Evaluations, Safety, & Enrollment
Is an evaluation required?
Yes. All dogs interested in:
- Daycare
- Boarding
- Puppy Kindergarten
- Puppy Graduate
…must complete a complimentary owner-led evaluation and tour. This helps us assess:
- Temperament
- Play style
- Social compatibility
- Safety needs
- Program fit
Do you accept aggressive dogs?
No. For the safety of our guests and staff, aggressive dogs are not accepted into group programs. Safety is our top priority, and not every environment is the right fit for every dog.
Why is the evaluation important?
We believe safe dog care goes beyond size alone. Our evaluation helps us thoughtfully place dogs based on:
- Personality
- Confidence
- Energy level
- Boundaries
- Comfort
This helps create safer, more balanced experiences.
Does grooming require an evaluation?
No. Grooming does not require a daycare evaluation.
Vaccination Requirements
What vaccinations are required?
Daycare, Boarding, & Puppy Kindergarten:
- Rabies
- Bordetella
- DHLPP
Grooming:
- Rabies only
Vaccination records must be uploaded to your portal prior to applicable services.
Dog Daycare
What age does my dog need to be for adult daycare?
Adult daycare is generally for dogs:
- 1 year or older
- Spayed or neutered
Do you accept unneutered or unspayed dogs?
Yes—with structure based on age, evaluation results, and program type.
Puppies (Under 1 year): Yes. Puppies may participate in Puppy Kindergarten and Puppy Graduate without being spayed or neutered, provided they pass evaluation.
Adult Unneutered Males: Yes, we may accept adult unneutered males depending on temperament and evaluation.
Important: Unneutered adult males older than approximately 1.5 years old are not eligible for group play.
Alternative boarding or individualized accommodations may still be available depending on fit.
How are dogs grouped?
We do not group dogs by size alone. Dogs are thoughtfully grouped based on:
- Temperament
- Energy level
- Play style
- Confidence
- Age
- Size
- Personality
We believe proper grouping is one of the most important parts of safe daycare.
How many dogs do you allow in your facility?
We do not operate based on a simple number or volume cap alone. Capacity is determined by:
- Who is already in-house
- Size
- Age
- Temperament
- Energy level
- Group compatibility
- Staffing needs
Our priority: Safe groups over maximum capacity
Do you increase staffing during busy periods or holidays?
Yes. During busier seasons, holidays, or peak boarding times, we intentionally accommodate additional staff to maintain safety, supervision, structure, and quality care.
What are daycare hours?
Monday–Friday: 6 AM – 6 PM
Saturday–Sunday: 8 AM – 4 PMDaycare is available 7 days a week for approved clients (excluding certain major holidays).
Do I need a reservation?
Reservations are strongly encouraged, but we do our best to accommodate flexibility and last-minute needs when space allows.
What are daycare package benefits?
Package members receive:
- Discounted daily pricing

Dogs must attend a minimum of once per week to qualify for daycare package membership.
Puppy Kindergarten & Puppy Graduate
What age can puppies start?
Puppies can begin Puppy Kindergarten at 12 weeks (3 months) old.
How often does my puppy attend?
Puppy Kindergarten:
- Minimum 2x per week
- Monday–Friday | 7 AM – 6 PM
- $125/day
Puppy Graduate:
- Minimum 1x per week
- $75/day
Puppies remain in Puppy Graduate until 1 year old and spayed/neutered.
What does Puppy Kindergarten teach?
- Basic obedience foundations

Do you board puppies?
Yes. We proudly board puppies who meet enrollment, vaccination, evaluation, and program requirements. Puppies benefit from:

Boarding
Do boarding dogs get daycare?
Yes—approved boarding dogs receive daycare included during their stay.
Is someone there overnight?
Yes. We have an overnight sitter on-site every night.
What boarding options do you offer?

Can you feed my dog their own food?
Absolutely. We strongly encourage your dog’s regular home diet, including:

Do you offer discounts for families with more than one dog?
Yes. We proudly offer multi-dog family discounts for both daycare and boarding. Ask our team about discounts for:

Splash Pool Membership
Does every dog have pool access?
No. Splash is a seasonal membership add-on available to approved clients.
Do you need daycare or boarding to access Splash?
Yes. Splash is a premium add-on and is not offered as a standalone service. To access Splash, your dog must already be scheduled for:
- Daycare
- Boarding
- Puppy Kindergarten / Puppy Graduate (approved participants)
How does Splash work?
- $299 seasonal membership (May–September)
- $20/day add-on for eligible daycare, boarding, or puppy program days
Is the pool supervised?
Yes. Splash includes supervised sessions with trained staff and dog lifeguard oversight.
Grooming
Do you groom cats?
No. At this time, we only offer grooming services for dogs.
Do you offer mobile grooming?
No. All grooming services are performed on-site at our One Paw Away facility.
Do you offer transportation services?
No. At this time, we do not offer transportation, pickup, or drop-off services.
Do I need to be a daycare member for grooming?
No. Grooming is open by appointment.
